The Health Fair is one of the aspects that make the Remembrance Run so unique. It has proven to be a wonderful way for women and men to gather information, speak with health professionals, and meet others who might be experiencing similar challenges.
The Health Fair exhibits will emphasize issues important to women & men including breast cancer, prostate cancer, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and post treatment care. Health care professionals from Munson Medical Center and the Grand Traverse County region will be present to share information and answer your questions starting at 8:15 AM. Door prizes will be given away , so arrive early.
To honor those who have been challenged with breast cancer, participants are asked to design a “star” with their friends and family member’s names. Those who have lost family and friends to breast cancer and would like to celebrate their life with a memorial my also design a star in their honor.
Paper “stars” may be pinned to participants and worn throughout the day. More permanent stars may be purchased ($5), personalized, and permanently displayed each year at the Remembrance Run.
